Health, Safety and Child Protection
We at Yellow Dog take Health and Safety seriously. As well as ensuring that Yellow Dog staff receive training, we do regular risk assessment on the spaces we work in and specifically for the shows we produce. We ask all parents/guardians to complete a form for Child Protection purposes - with details for emergency contacts, waivers for filming, and for sweets!
Any staff in sole charge of a group, will have had Full Enhanced Disclosure checks from Disclosure Scotland. All Yellow Dog staff and Intern helpers are fully insured for the workplace.
For safety, and for the feeling of safety required for all our children, we ask that all parents notify us if they'd like to watch a session. In these cases we would normally introduce you to the group at the beginning of a session. This helps put everyone at ease.
Bullying - We take any incidence of bullying very seriously, because our first step is to create a safe environment for all of our students.
If you have any concerns about your child's safety please address them to Scott, on 01381 629 153, or scott@yellowdog.org.uk.
