MISSION STATEMENT

Our ambitions are:

TO reach our 'paws' across the North of Scotland creating theatre with students in any area that can support a group.

TO help our students to grow in confidence and skill.

TO faciltate fun, high quality, well structured drama workshops, for young people from 5 years to 16 years old.

TO help our members, of all ages, to create work that they are proud of! Rather than running skills classes in dance, singing, etc...we learn skills specific to different production styles as we go along.

TO keep our prices as affordable as possible so anyone who loves theatre and wants to learn more can access Yellow Dog classes and productions. 

TO treat all students, staff and families equally; we are of an inclusive nature recognising and developing the gifts that different individuals can bring to a group.

TO cast all students in productions in a way which creates diverse opportunities for all students, and which gives all students opportunities to perform in lead roles over time. In this way we can guarantee that we do run a 'Star System'; selecting only a few students to perform  in lead roles in every production.

So we can, with confidence say spread the message that Yellow Dog Theatre = FUN, FRIENDSHIP and CONFIDENCE! (AND FAIRNESS)
